Each year Forbes publish several lists ranking financially the top celebrities. After ranking fifth in 2014 Katy Perry has been named top-earning female musician of 2015. Forbes reported that Perry made $135m between June 2014 and June 2015, more than tripling her earnings from last year!
Katy Perry out earned Taylor Swift on this years list by $55m! The two are in a rumored feud after Perry allegedly stole one of Swift’s dancers for a tour and many speculate that Swifts song “Bad Blood” was written in response to the incident.
A big surprise in the list was Stevie Nicks and Christine McVie of Fleetwood Mac making it into the list’s top three, reportedly making $59.5m thanks to the band’s “It’s On with the Show” tour.
Beyoncé, the “Drunk In Love” singer, topped last year’s Celebrity 100 list; though she’s since dropped to fifth place.
